Chestita Baba Marta Skupi Priateli! March.

Честита Баба Марта!
March 1st was my favourite celebration in Bulgaria, we did wear and hang Martenitsas but it really wasn't the same, I dont think it ever will be unless I am lucky enough to be in
Bulgaria.

Silves Storks.

We have Storks 24/7 here, they never leave and I love them!! This is one thing I miss about the apartment, the daily connection with those lovely lanky birds.

A pretty quiet month really compared to others, so a short post.

We have started a Saturday morning breakfast trip to Silves, on bike or foot to the Spar shop, this you will only appreciate when you join us. The pastries are delicious, we sit along the river to eat, shop at the weekly farmer’s market before returning home, this takes pretty much most of the morning, and is very enjoyable.

Matty crossing the waste land.

Whos watching who?! (GNR on the left)

Charmer!!

Bowen Therapy Algarve.

I am very happy to say that I have had a nice flow of clients and have met some great people over the last few months that are happy for me to offer my treatments to the guests of the retreats and courses. Also, its been wonderful getting some really positive feedback from people that have never had Bowen work done before. Let the good work continue!!

The art work and design of my cards was courtesy of Tal my dear Israeli friend who I hope shall be back in the Algarve later this year, mind you I wouldn't blame them if they could tear themselves away from India and Thailand...

The Algarvian coast as I have said before is incredible and its so close it would be rude not to go at least once a week. The sea has been surprisingly warm??? For this time of year. With a couple dips under our belt we feel quite blessed. There is no doubt the sea is cold; the initial ‘shock’ is beneficial it brings you right to the now with clarity and focus, the coming to terms with its allows your body to absorb the wonderful energy and recharge without even knowing it, this is followed by the all over tingling (if your not numb) which is really quite enjoyable, finally emerging to the warm embrace of the suns rays reminds you that life IS good!!

1 2 3 Jump...

Tillandsia.

Jose our landlord and neighbour is a very lovey man and this month he and his wife gifted us a spectacular Air plant, a Tillandsia, I have since discovered that the plant will bloom once in its lifetime and it then has pups, each pup is a plant and that too will bloom, bring on the pups is what I say…

I have been learning Portuguese for a good few months, the lovely Filomena has her work cut out, unlike Neil I don't do much homework and I have to say I find it hard, it makes Bulgarian easy… Progress is slow and I find myself struggling to find words, then if I manage to pull the right word from that dim part of my brain I then cant string a sentence together, lets hope that the dim area is brightened soon and wants to work with my mouth, because when I read Portuguese I love the sounds that come from my mouth and the way my mouth feels when creating these sound, this can only be a good thing, right?!

I havent shared many pics of Silves so I shall start now.
